Our principal dentist graduated from Glasgow University in 2000 and since gained membership of the Royal college of Physicians and surgeons in Glasgow, a Masters degree in Dental Implants from the University of Central Lancashire, and is currently working towards his diploma in primary care orthodontics with the college of general dentists. Owen is committed to education and further development and is involved with the training and education of the next generation of dentists in his role at Glasgow University Dental Hospital and School, teaching undergraduate dentists, and with the University of Central Lancashire teaching qualified dentists to place dental implants as part of their masters programme here at his clinic in Govan. He also works as the sedation dental practice inspector for the greater and Glasgow and Clyde health board keeping practices up to date on all aspects of sedation and mentors fellow dentists who wish to provide this service. He is also a vocational trainer helping newly qualified dentists settle into life after dental school in general practice. In his spare time he enjoys coaching his sons football team and spending time with family.
